The wedding venue website compiled the list of the UK’s top spots to get married, based on Google reviews from happy couples, with Pembroke Lodge earning a place on the list based on 1,133 reviews.
Newlyweds rated the venue on account of its sweeping parkland views and green surroundings, with plenty of opportunity to take photos.

This Grade II structure dates back to the 18th century, when it was first built as a modest cottage, before being expanded into a Georgian manor in the 19th century.

The lodge grew in notability when it became the residence of British Prime Minister Lord John Russell, grandfather of philosopher Bertrand Russell, who spent part of his childhood there, and it has since played host to many famous figures.
The lodge is surrounded by 11 acres of landscaped gardens, where an abundance of flowers grow during the warmer months like Roses, Hydrangeas and Camelias, making it the ideal place for wedding photos.

The lodge offers two distinct event spaces: The Russell Suite, located on the ground floor of the Georgian wing, and The Belvedere, a light-filled banqueting suite in the more modern wing.
Both are licensed for civil ceremonies and can be adapted to suit a range of wedding styles, from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations.
